Smile through all sorrows
Go placidly, don’t break
Look forward to tomorrow
The one you’re yet to make
Don’t worry of the darkness
For soon you’ll see it fades
Because it’s always darkest
Before the dawn breaks
But remember: tread lightly
Beware of shiny shards
For when dawn starts breaking
Skies shatter in parts
You’ll see the stars fading
Succumbing to the light
Then birds will start singing
In grief of the passing night…
