I am fire
I bring blaze
I spring desire
with sweet disgrace
I am the devil
I bring the light
to mundane spirits
with earthen spite
sin was freedom
I breathe sinister
in all my kingdom
I am THE Lucifer:
the rebel,
the powerful,
the ruler of hell…
punisher, invincible;
Desires? Do tell.
and then you came around
brazen, uninvited
brave to my astound
a light I never vetted
slowly you took over
the cracks of my core
i hated all your clever
tho I loved you all the more
you’re truly terrifying,
and beautiful, and warm-
not the warm I’m used to live in
it is different, there’s no harm
I am curious
I am scared
but more over…
I think I care.
ah, my sweet undoing
let my darkness melt
to your gentlest touch.
