that comes out my mouth
when things turn out so bad
is who I yearn for
when I feel lonely,
or when I’m sad
is what I yell out
when I’m scared
and out of faith
is who I call for
when living frightens
and hope betrays
is my prayer
when I feel helpless
and out of words
is the greatest answer
to every orison
God’s ever heard
