and made you realize
how comfortable it is on the floor
Be thankful to those who broke your spirit
and showed you freedom
much truer than before
Be thankful to all the sorrow you’ve faced
that made you stronger
and much wiser than ever
Be thankful to all the tears you’ve cried
that cleansed your vision
and made your spirit gentler
