what lasted for a moment
felt like eternity in a whim
one slight brush; your gentlest touch,
and my soul melted through my skin

sudden- short-lived,
but it took me through a thousand realms
of pastel pinks and warm yellows,
silly oranges overwhelmed

I felt butterflies fluttered,
dancing deep within my core;
my spirit shivered like rhythmic
quivering of a harpsichord

frostbitten, struck, smitten;
sparkling chills rush through my spine
and before I knew, I glimpsed at you
stunning with those ocean eyes

and I knew it’s true,
you felt that too…
but only for a moment.

I think it’s funny
how simply silly
and spontaneous life can be.
Two random strangers
in one encounter
can change the course of history.
From separate worlds,
a dreary girl
and a boy filled with fantasy.
Their poles apart
but in their hearts
they found genuine harmony.
There’s not a term
that can confirm
their whimsical rivalry.
But sometimes,
pieces that look like
they don’t go together, do actually.

There’ll be times when roads seem to
lead you nowhere
And moments when you’d rather
be lost elsewhere
There’ll be sunrises you wish
would never set
And midnights that are filled
with cold regrets
There’ll be millions of reasons
to give it up
But there will always be one that
won’t let you stop
Because sometimes to move mountains you just
have to keep pushing
And if some gets too heavy, then you just
have to start climbing.
